New Duster will debut in September
The company Dacia, which belongs to Renault, confirmed that the second generation Duster crossover debuts in September this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Duster-2 retains the features of a simple, but brutal crossover, which he loved in the first generation. But certain transformations are still noticeable. So, in front, the Duster-2 will receive a completely new bumper, another optics and a radiator lining in accordance with the Dacia corporate identity. Cladding on versions under the Renault brand, for sure, will be different.
Around the embossed arches of the wheels will appear plastic lining, which protect the paintwork from scratches. There will also be edging around the fog lamps, stylized for aluminum.
But the side mirrors and side panels of the body of the changes, judging by the photos, have not undergone. Intrigue while there is a new design of the stern of the car.
Lose Duster-2 and brutal branded roof rails, which distinguished the previous generation from the general flow. In the new generation, the rails will be calmer and more classic.
So far little is known about the interior of the car. The manufacturer only announces that Duster-2 will receive a “renowned” multimedia R-Link system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system in the second generation is quite advanced, and it obviously will benefit the novelty.
As for powertrains, the Duster-2 will receive the same engines as the current generation. front-wheel drive version and 4×4 version, manual gearbox and 6-step “robot” EDC6. In Europe, the Duster-2 will be available with gasoline engines 1.6 ScE 115 hp. Diesel units 1.5 DCI are available in two versions: 90 to 110 hp, but now with an additional tank adBlue.
